Maghdouché’s most famous landmark is the tower of Our Lady of Mantara, which is a Marian shrine built (May 16, 1963), above the cave that is believed to have been the resting place of the Virgin Mary as she waited for Jesus while he preached in Sidon.

First Visit Saida (SIDON), Explore by visiting the Sea Castle built by the crusaders in the 13th century as a fortress, walking along the old souk, to the soap museum Beautifully restored and expertly designed, the soap museum building dates back to the 13th century.
