Itinerary
Day 1: Acclimatization in Leh
Stop At: Shanti Stupa Road 500 steps from Changspa Road, Leh 194101 India
Once we are done with orientation and briefing, we go on an acclimatization walk across the town to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. The rest of the day is for relaxation and some shopping. Stay at Guesthouse in Leh

Day 2: Leh to Nubra valley
Stop At: Khardung La Road, 194101 India
Today’s ride starts by conquering the mighty Khardung La (the World’s Highest Motorable Road at a height of 18,380 ft). Riding further downhill, we enter the heart of Nubra valley. It is an amazing experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. The ride along the Shayok River to enter Hunder sand dunes is a treat for the eyes. Then we will visit the oldest and largest monastery, Diskit monastery enroute Hunder in Nubra valley. It is located at an altitude of 3142 meters. Once we arrive at our campsite, we get refreshed and head out to explore the sand dunes. Stay at Camp in Hunder

Day 3: Nubra to Turtuk to Thang to Nubra
Stop At: Turtuk, Turtuk, Leh District, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir
Around 80km further north from Hunder (Nubra), we reach a beautiful village which was part of former Baltistan. Turtuk is one of the last unexplored places in Leh – Ladakh and village still retains the pristine with very hospitable local people. Post lunch, we head further north towards the Indo Pak Border – Thang. A quick briefing by the Indian Army officer at the border and we return to Hunder same day. Stay at Camp in Hunder

Day 4: Nubra to Sakti via Wari La
Stop At: Wari La Pass, Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso, Diskit India
From Hunder, we trace back the route up to Khalsar and take deviation towards Pangong Lake road. But at Agyam village, we take another deviation towards Wari La – fourth highest motorable pass. From there we roll down on the off road towards a small and scenic Sakti village. Post lunch, we head to Sakti monastery, if time and energy permits. Overnight in homestay in Sakti

Day 5: Sakti to Mann near Pangong Tso via Changla
Stop At: Changla Pass, India
Early departure from the homestay after delicious homely food. We start the ride by climbing the 2nd highest motorable pass – Chang la! Lunch at Durbuk and head straight towards Pangong Tso. We will pass by all the touristy cliche’ locations and stay at the most scenic Mann village after Spangmik. Stay in guesthouse in Mann

Day 6: Pangong Tso to Nyoma via Chushul and Yaye Tso Lake
Stop At: Chushul 194201
Today’s ride will be the most difficult, scenic and off beat ride of the entire trip with loads of off roads and unexplored lakes. From Chushul we deviate towards the unconventional route and reach Mirpal Tso and Yaye Tso lakes. You will be mesmerised by the sheer beauty and isolation of the place. After spending a gala time at the lake, reach our guest house stay at Nyoma by evening

Day 7: Nyoma to Hanle to Karzok
Stop At: Tso Moriri, 194404
After all the backbreaking ride on the kachha roads previous day, you will ride on the smoothest road to Hanle. A quick visit to Indian Astronomical Observatory and Hanle Monastery, and lunch at a guest house. Post lunch, trace the road back towards Nyoma and head straight to another beautiful lake – Tsomoriri near Karzok Village. Although much smaller than Pangong Tso, it looks more majestic. With less tourists visiting this place, it makes the places all the more beautiful. Stay at Camp near the Lake

Day 8: Karzok (Tsomoriri) to Leh via Tsokar and Taglang La
Stop At: Tso Kar, 194201
After exploring around Tsomoriri Lake in the morning, we start our journey back to Leh via Tsokar. Tso Kar is not really known for its size and depth but it is a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh. Post lunch at Tsokar, we hit the Manali highway and climb the third highest motorable pass – Taglangla. Visit Thiksey monastery if time and energy permits and head straight to Leh guesthouse.

Day 9: Leh to Nimmoo for River Rafting + Hall of Fame + Leisure
Stop At: Nimmoo, Nimmoo, Leh District, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir
After all the hardcore riding on tough and dusty roads, we sit back and enjoy the Srinagar Highway in SUV / Tempo Traveller. We wash off all the dust from our crazy journey by plunging into the waters of Zanskar River! We will go on a crazy rafting expedition which you will surely cherish. Then head back to Leh. Stop at Hall of Fame and Leh Market for souvenir shopping and relax for the day. Stay at Guesthouse in Leh

Day 10: Depart from Leh
