Meet your guide at your hotel lobby and proceed to Entulang Iban’s longhouse. The iban’s people are the single largest tribe in Sarawak and they are traditionally live in longhouses which are actually a number of rooms linked together but sharing a common ‘ruai’ – a verandah where traditional ceremonies are performed in the olden days. Upon arrival at the Longhouse, the chief of the longhouse will invite you to tour around the longhouse and you’ll see totem, carving, and another ethnic style stuffs. The ibans are famed as headhunters of Borneo and in some older longhouses, some skulls are still seen hanging along the ruai, you will also have a chance to try their famous rice wine known as ‘tuak’ which is locally brewed at your expenses. After the tour, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel.
