We will spend some time in the botanical garden, wetland area & observe two actual replicas of Malay traditional houses built in the area.
Lastly, we will have a picnic by the scenic waterfall located at the back of this FRIM headquarters before we head back to the city and making our 1-hour stop at the world-famous Batu Caves Temple.

Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is one of the leading institutions in tropical forestry research in the world. The Institute sits on a 545-ha site adjacent to the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve in the Kepong municipality, 16 km northwest of Kuala Lumpur. It was gazetted as a Natural Heritage Site in 2009 and working towards attaining the recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
