We will do a guided tour in the most important Archeological site of Oaxaca, visiting the best spots, learning about the culture and life style of our ancestors. We will walk without any rush around this world cultural heritage and you will have time to enjoy and take beautiful photos.

We will visit a family Workshop of wool Rugs where we will enjoy a big demostration of natural dyes by a Zapotec family.

We will experience Oaxacan Art visiting a family workshop in this town. This colorful & Fantasy animals made of wood hide mysticism behind them. We will see the whole process since they are carved until they are painted with beautiful zapotec designs on them. You can also figure out which is your protector animal and paint it!

The first corn seeds of America continent were found here. A hike on a mountain visiting a complex of five prehispanic caves where we are able to see petroglyphs in red color, white and black.

Over the east side of Oaxaca city we can discover big fields on Agaves and many good distilleries.

San Bartolo Coyotepec is a town located 30 minutes away from Oaxaca city. We will experience how people work with the black pottery and see how they still use the prehispanic lathe to make classic, modern and master pieces. All the decorations and brightness on the pieces is by hand! People is so proud about what they do so we can ask questions and take photos freely.

After Monte Alban, the Archeological site of Mitla was considered the most important places in the Central Valley of Oaxaca due to his political power and economy. We will do a guided visit through the beautiful Architecture and the amazing decoration we can find on walls. Mitla is a magic town.

Market is an old traditions that never passed away in Oaxaca.
People from the differents town around come to this place to do the grossery or to sell their local products.
Markets are definitly the place where you can see the real life of a town. Walking around the halls you can experience colors and smells of Oaxaca. MARKET DAY IS ONLY SUNDAYS.

Stop At: Calle Union Templo De San Jeronimo Tlacochahuaya, Oaxaca Mexico
This small community houses one of the most significant Catholic temples of Oaxaca. Designed by the spanish people but Painted By the natives with natural pigments, this temple from the 16th century was dedicated to St Jerome and was the house of the faith for the Dominican order.

A very small village with and old tradition.
We visit this place to see the people workig with the backstrap loom.
Specially the ladies stared weaving the straps they wore for the skirts and we can still see them workig at the market town, making table runners, purses, shoulder bags, bracelets etcs
