Itinerary

Day 1: Arriving in Marrakech with a Visit to the Palm Gardens

Stop At: Marrakech Sweet Travel, Rue el gza N 148 bab doukkala, Marrakech 40000 Morocco
After getting your luggage, please proceed through the main exit door. Once outside, look for someone holding a sign with your name on it. You are to be taken via 25-minute drive to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, an orientation visit to the palm groves will be posiible. Have the rest of the evening to yourself.

Day 2: Marrakech Departure and Transfer to Gorges Dades going by Unesco World Heritage and Ouarzazate

Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
Please be in the lobby at 7:00am. Your driver should be there ready for you. There you are to take the 7:00am tour with us. Passing through the length of the Atlas Mountains on the winding and unfortunately bumpy Tishka Pass, stops are to be made so you can take photos at scenic locations. Afterwards, you are to be taken to the postcard-perfect village of Ait Benhaddou. You should be there before 12:00pm. Upon arrival. Have lunch in a restaurant of your choice. Tell your tour guide where you decide to eat, as after your meal, he is to pick you up and then provide you with a guided tour of the village.

Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
Once done with the sites in Ait Benhaddou. You are to be taken via a 45-minute drive to the town of Ouarzazate. Upon arrival. You are to first visit the Atlas Studio. It serves as one of the largest movie studios in the world in terms of land area. Next, you are to visit the Cinema Museum. It gives you a background on past movies produced in the area.

Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
When leaving Ouarzazate, you are to pass by a fortress called Taourirt Kasbah. You are to be taken via a 3-hour drive from Ouarzazate to your hotel in the village of Boumalne Dades. You should be there around 8:00pm. Dinner is to be served before 9:00pm and is included on today’s tour. After dinner, you have the rest of the night to yourself.

Stop At: Tinghir, Hay Taourirte, Tinerhir Morocco
Enjoy walking around the narrow valley of Gorges du Todra with steep rocky walls and a stream running through it.

Day 3: Travel to Sahara Desert with Sunset Camel Ride and Sleep in the Tent

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Check out and please be in the lobby at 8:00am. Today’s first destination via a 45-minute drive is Dades Gorges. This is a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the river. The next destination is Todgha (a.k.a. Todra) Gorges. This is a series of limestone river canyons. Around 12:30pm, you can purchase lunch in the village of Tinghir. En route to your final destination, Erg Chebbi, you are to make a stop around 5:00pm in the village of Rissani. At one of the shops in town, you can purchase a locally famous pizza-like dish called madfouna. You should be in Erg Chebbi around 6:30pm. This is where your camp is located. You are to sleep in a tent later tonight.
Note that watching the sunset is offered only in the wintertime. Remove the green sentence below if the customer is not visiting during this season.

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Erg Chebbi is essentially a large sea of red dunes formed by wind-blown sand. After arrival, you are to go camel riding with a tour guide for about an hour. If the weather is good and thus you do not need to return to your camp early, you should be able to watch the sunset on your camel riding tour. Dinner is to be served before 9:00pm and is included on today’s tour. Before the night ends and you return to your tent, you are to watch a traditional show with music and fire.

Day 4: Merzouga Departure and Transfer to Fes

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
Please have your luggage packed and ready and then have breakfast, which is included on today’s tour. Be packed, ready, and outside your tent at 9:00am. You are to be taken back to Marrakech. Say goodbye to your local tour guide. You are to be taken via an 8-hour drive to the city of Fez (also spelled Fes). Several stops are to be made en route so you can use the bathroom as well as take photos at scenic spots. Lunch can be purchased in the town of Midelt around 3:00pm. Before 5:30pm, you are to visit the Cèdre Gouraud Forest. There you are to see monkeys. You should arrive in Fez city around 8:00pm.

Day 5: Fes Guided Historical and Cultural Visit

Stop At: Kairaouine Mosque (Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin), Fes el-Bali Qayruwan quarters, Fes 30030 Morocco
Enjoy your breakfast and then be in the lobby at 9:00am. Along with your driver, your tour guide should be there ready for you. You are to be provided with a guided walking and driving tour of Fez. We recommend you purchase lunch around 1:00pm. You should be back at your hotel around 3:30pm. You have the rest of the evening to yourself.

Stop At: Bou Inania Medersa, Rue Talaa Sghira, Fes 30110 Morocco
1. Rue Bou Ksissat: Home to several jewelry shops, this street used to be the economic and spiritual heart of Fez’ Jewish Quarter (a.k.a. Mellah).
2. Palais Royal Dar El Makhzen (a.k.a. Royal Palace of Dar El Makhzen): outside only, as the inside is closed to the general public
3. Kasbah Cherarda Fortress & its Bab Mahrouk Cemetery & Mausoleum of Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi
4. Bab Ftouh Gate (a.k.a. Gate of Victory) & Cemetery
5. Grand Mechouar Gate (a.k.a. Bab Bou Jat Mechouar)
6. Mechouar de Bab Dekaken Gate (a.k.a. Gate of the Benches or Nouveau Mechouar Gate)
8. Al-Attarine Madrasa: From its terrace, it offers a nice view of the Qarawiyyin Mosque courtyard.
9. Musee des Armes (a.k.a. Armory Museum): housed inside a 16th century fortress

Stop At: Zaouia of Moulay Idriss II, Fes 30030 Morocco
10. Zaouia Moulay Idriss II: Built in the 18th century, this shrine contains the tomb of the founder of Fez. At least one of the doors is often open, thus allowing tourists to peek into the prayer hall. The rest of the inside is inaccessible to non-Muslims.
11. Funduq al-Najjariyyin (a.k.a. Museo Nejjarine): houses a wooden arts museum and features a nice entrance and courtyard

13. Bab Bou Jeloud Gate (a.k.a. Bab Abi al-Jounoud or Blue Gate)
14. Grand Mosque of Fez el-Jdid: It contains the necropolis of Abu Inan. You are to visit the outside only, that is, unless you are Muslim.

Day 6: Fes Departure with a Guided visit to Volubilis and on To Chefchaouen

Stop At: Volubilis, Morocco
Please have your luggage packed and ready and then have breakfast, which is included on today’s tour. Be packed, you are to be taken via 3-hour drive to the Ruins Roman of Volubilis. This place is excavated Berber and Roman city which developed during the 3rd century BC as a Berber settlement before later becoming the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Once your guided tour in end. We recommend you have lunch at a restaurant of your choosing around 1pm. After Lunch You are to be taken through a scenic drive to the Blue City, Chefchaouen. You should be there around 5pm. You have the rest of the evening to yourself.

Day 7: Chefchaouen Guided Tour and Travel to Rabat

Stop At: Chefchaouen, Chefchaouen, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima
Enjoy your breakfast, which is included on today’s tour. Then check out, and please be in the lobby at 9am. You are to be provided with a guided tour, where you will explore this peaceful and charming little town full of life and excitement, along with the colorful walls and narrow alleyways. We recommend you purchase lunch around 1pm. After lunch and once this sightseiing is over. You are to be taken via 2-hour drive to Rabat. You should be there around 6am. Your driver guide will take you to your hotel, and have the rest of the evening to yourself.

Day 8: Rabat Guided Tour and Transfer to Casablanca

You are to visit Royal Palace. “Dar el Makhzen” with its great mosque built by the “men in Fez”. Laterwill visit, the Kasbah of Oudayas, you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view on the estuary of the Bouregreg river. Then we will stop at the Mausoleum Mohamed V. Next door to it, the Unfinished Mosque Hassan Tower. Once your sightseeing is over. Have lunch arounf 2pm at a restaurant of your choice. Afterward, you are to be taken via 1-hour drive to your hotel in Casablanca. You have the rest of the evening to yourself.

Day 9: Visit of Casablanca and Transfer to Marrakech

Check out and have your breakfast, which is included on today’s tour. Be packed and ready at 10am. The driver should be there for you. Then you are to be provided with a walking and driving tour of Casablanca. Beginning by the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the outside of the mosque Hassan II. We recommend you have lunch at 1pm. After lunch, you are to visit with the old city Medina. Once this self vist is over, you are to be taken via 3-hour drive to your hotel Marrakech. Have the rest of the evening to yourself.

1. Kutubiyya Mosque: One of the doors on the east wall is often open, thus allowing tourists to peek into the prayer hall. The rest of the inside is inaccessible to non-Muslims.
2. Dar el-Makhzen Palace: outside only, as the inside is closed to the general public
3. The Kasbah Citadel: It contains the Kasbah Mosque (a.k.a. Mansouria Mosque or Mosque of Moulay al-Yazid). The mosque is not open to non-Muslims.
4. Saadian Tombs: a necropolis dating to the twelfth century
5. Bab Mellah Spice Souk Market & the Mellah Market
6. El Badi Palace: great views from the rampart
7. Palais Bahia (a.k.a. Bahia Palace)
8. Majorelle Garden & the Yves Saint Laurent Museum
9. Souk Semarine Market: features lots of clothing, merchants and trinkets
10. Jemma El-Fnaa Square: Marrakesh’s main square, filled with street vendors and food stalls

12. Souk el-Attarine Market: home to lamp, teapot and mirror shops
