Itinerary
Day 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU -DESERT
Stop At: Aït Benhaddou, Morocco
The road that leads to the desert from Marrakech is about 9 hours of driving plus stops. We will cross the High Atlas through the mountain pass of Tizi n’Tichka, enjoying wonderful mountain views dotted with small Berber villages.
Our stop is in the mythical fortified city, the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Their adobe houses have been the scene of Game of Thrones or Gladiator.

In the afternoon we will arrive in the desert and be able to leave the car if they want to take a camel ride to their camp or leave them at their accommodation.

Day 2: ZAGORA DESERT – OUARZAZATE
Stop At: Erg CHegaga Samatours, El Gouera, Morocco
We recommend getting up at dawn for a walk to see the sunrise from the dunes. Then we pick you up with the car to travel part of the desert and surroundings.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Zagora, Zagora, Souss-Massa
In this city that had been an administrative center, there is still the famous sign “Timbuktu 52 days” that indicated the direction of the caravans. We will pass through several oases and large palm groves on this way back.

The splendid oasis of the Draa river valley is one of the largest in Morocco.

Finally we will arrive at Ouarzazate, where you can admire in a visit the beauty of this ancient kasbah of the Glaoui dynasty.
