Itinerary
Our Arabic calligraphy workshop will be a time for our participants to get back to basics, to rediscover and combine their creativity with their breath, to discover rhythm, to calm down and to tend to the meditative form. The Arabic calligrapher will take you on a journey into a world of artistic expressions where Arabic letters dance to tell the art of writing.
We start with :
* the definition of Arabic calligraphy.
* Introduction to the materials of this art and presentation of the calame.
* Instant preparation of natural stinging.
* Learn how to handle the calame (three fingers; body position; slowness and decomposition of letter tracing).
* After talking about the “basic rules”, we start by handling the Qalam beveled pen and loading the ink. Then make way for practice by performing a series of exercises. Formation of Arabic letters. Words, first names and expressions.
A mint tea and Moroccan cakes are offered during the break.

Your personalized names in Arabic calligraphy will be made during the workshop.
