You tour will begin with a stop at the famous Koutoubia minaret. At 69 m long, it’s part of the latgest mosque in Marrakech. Built in the 12th century its a reminder of the greatness of the moorish architecture and its influence on the Moroccan culture. You will continue through the Mellah ( jewish quarters) and its beautifully builts houses that represent the value of the jewish community. Your next stop will be the Bahia palace, a magestic palace built with a great attention to details, it’s an architectural masterpiece and a magnificent representation of the lifestyle of the Vizir of Marrakech , his wives and his harem.Afterwards, you’ll continue through the narrow streets of the medina to the Saadiens Tombs, beautifully decorated tombs of the Sultans of the Saadians Dynasty, their heirs and their wives.
In the afternoon, continue your tour through the labyrinthe of the Medina of Marrakech with its famous coloured souks divided into small parts named after the crafts made and sold there. It features all the handmade crafts like the woodwork, ironwork, jewelery, kaftans, spices, pottery and more. You will finish your tour at famous Jamaa el fna square, one of the most famous squares of the world.
