The caves of Hercules are surrounded by legends and mysteries, and it is here that rested the mythical figure of Hercules after the realization of his works, to believe the traces and footprints of human presence, which would be attributed to him, on the rocks. Discovered in 1906, it is classified national historic heritage in 1950. The cave of Hercules, becomes then one of the emblematic monuments and the most visited of Tangier.
