From Amsterdam we will sail you on our heated boat with sun terrace to Windmill Village the Zaanse Schans.
We will sail partly through the port of Amsterdam and before entering the river ‘Zaan’ we will go through a ‘lock’. The lock regulates the water level and ensures that the boat is at the same height as on the other side of the lock.
We moor at the Zaanse Schans. Here you have ± 2 hours to walk around and explore the village.
The sailing time to and from the Zaanse Schans takes ± 2 hours.

These next 2 hours are free-time to discover the Zaanse Schans yourself. The Zaanse Schans is a residential area in which the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. Stroll past the bakery museum and enjoy the smell of fresh cookies, or take a look at the warehouse where clogs are made. You should be sure not to miss the cheese factory, pewter foundry and the various windmills (you even will have the opportunity to visit one) The Zaanse Schans is a unique part of the Netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, barns and workshops.
After your visit to the Zaanse Schans, we will be back in Amsterdam.
