What makes Private Amsterdam Photography Tour of Hidden Gems East a unique experience ?

We start out by crossing Kattenburg, the first of three manmade islands in Amsterdam where the 17th century galleons were built. Along the canal with it’s typical houses. We stop for a brilliant view of the canal and an iconic dutch windmill for a key-shot of the tour.

This area is part of the old wharf and offers many classic photography options including a very photogenic old steel bridge. We´ll slowly pass through the area photographing classic buildings and motifs which are so much an expression of Amsterdam

We pass by the science museum to capture an spectacular view over the city. We will talk about best composition options for city scapes and make sure you get the right shot with you.

We cross the Jan Schaeferbridge which besides very graphically making the difference between the old town and the modern architecture also offers some great photography challenges and nice views and angles which we will work with. From the bridge there are nice views of the modern architecture on both sides of the canal.

We end the tour on Java Island also called the “ij”. Here you’ll find many interesting motifs of modern canal buildings and we will work to find the best compositions and angles on the day.
Finally you will experience a nice panoramic view of the most important waterway of Amsterdam.
We end the tour very close to the tram which will take you straight back to the center of the city.
