Wellington’s Heli Harbour Flight gives you a great aerial tour of the diversification in landscapes surrounding New Zealand’s capital city. As you lift off from the Wellington waterfront you will see downtown central Wellington and its thriving waterfront before heading off around the harbour to discover suburbs perched in the surrounding hills.

Somes Island in the middle of the harbour are rich with history along with Mt Halswell where you can spot historic gun emplacements. Across the other side of the harbour, houses start to become fewer as you fly along the Pencarrow coast line with its famous lighthouse marking the entrance to the harbour.

Flying across the harbour entrance you may spot a plane coming in to land at Wellington’s International airport. Lyal Bay is situated next to the airport one of Wellingtons popular surf beaches.

Flying back you will soar over the city once again before landing back on the waterfront helipad.
