For the Lake Dunstan Experience we will meet you at our Clyde Depot in it’s historic heart. We will fully brief you on your world class trail e-bike. From here we will transport you to the Historic Precinct of Old Cromwell where you will start your adventure and ride the amazing Lake Dunstan Trail back to Clyde.

The Lake Dunstan Trail might be New Zealand’s newest cycle trail but that doesn’t mean you won’t get the same historic views.
The 54km trail takes you on a journey from Pisa Moorings along the shores of Lake Dunstan to Old Cromwell Town.
When the Clyde dam was completed in 1990, Cromwell’s main street disappeared under Lake Dunstan. Some of the historic buildings dating back to the gold rush of the 1860s were saved or lovingly rebuilt on higher ground, creating the Cromwell Heritage Precinct. Central Otago is home to some of New Zealand’s best wine producers and the sights of the vineyards overlooking the lake are too inviting to ignore. Pull into a cellar door in the Cromwell Basin or Bannockburn, enjoy a glass and grab a bottle for later.
The final stretch into Clyde takes you through the glorious Cromwell Gorge. With sections built out around sheer rock faces, you won’t find a trail quite like this anywhere else. The perfect end to your ride.
