The Wines of Marlborough cruise excursion tour is a brilliant way to experience the Marlborough wine region. You will catch the bus provided by the cruise ship into the Picton information centre where you will meet your guide for the day. They will talk you through the tour itinerary and then take you the 30 minute drive to the stunning Marlborough wine region. Surrounded by mountains the wine valley is the home of NZ wine and in particular Sauvignon Blanc.

Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will provide you with a wealth of information on the region and the wines. Midway through the day we will stop for a delicious platter lunch at one of the winery restaurants. The half day guided sea kayak trip is an ideal opportunity to fit a little kayaking adventure into a busy day – or for those just wanting a taste of sea kayaking.

Our priority is to get you out on the water, allowing maximum time to enjoy the tranquil waters of the Queen Charlotte Sound. Your guide will enjoy sharing their knowledge of the Marlborough Sounds and it's native flora and fauna as you paddle along. The area is surrounded by bush-clad shorelines and sandy beaches. The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre presents two world-class exhibitions. The first is the original ‘Knights of the Sky’ exhibition, featuring Sir Peter Jackson's own collection of WWI aircraft and artifacts. The story of aviation in the Great War is brought to life in sensational sets created by the internationally acclaimed talent of WingNut Films and Weta Workshop. 

The second is the new exhibition ‘Dangerous Skies’ features stories from World War II. These are tales of daring, valour and tragedy stretching from the British Isles to the forests of Germany, an embattled but courageous Russia and the steaming hot jungles of South East Asia. Two of the star attractions are a twin engine bomber, the world's only flyable Mk1 Avro Anson and a Griffon powered Mk.XIVe Spitfire. Women also feature more prominently in this exhibition and the Battle of Stalingrad is the stage for an immersive experience that is both entertaining and chillingly thought provoking.
