After a whakatau ceremony you’re pretty much whanau. So roll your sleeves up, roll your dough out and get your handmade Puku Burger cooking. While lunch is being prepared you’ll have the opportunity to Kōrero with knowledgeable Tamaki hosts.
With a happy puku explore the beautiful forest of Tamaki Māori Village. Learn traditional pastime activities, feed the village tuna, identify the flora and fauna of the forest, unlock meanings of our carved houses – enjoy the serenity and warmth of our home.
This experience is interactive, educational and with a maximum 20 people, this small group tour offers a deeper connection with our people, history and culture.
