Kraków Trip Overview

While your stay in Krakow, it’s a must to visit Auschwitz Museum – one of the best-known concentration camps in the world; it is a place of genocide where approximately 1.5 million people were killed during WWII. During our tour you will have a chance to see selected exposition in Auschwitz I (exhibition in blocks 4, 5, 7 and crematorium I) and the most important sights in Auschwitz II Birkenau (the unloading platform – ramp and selected prisoner barracks).

During the 3-hour visit to the Memorial and Museum, you will enter Auschwitz I – the administrative centre of Auschwitz death camp and Auschwitz II, designed and constructed as an extermination facility.

The program of the visit comprises the introduction to the origins of the camp, its history and the everyday life of its prisoners. In 1979, the concentration camp was designated as one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. The tour ends just where it starts – in the city centre of Krakow (Straszewskiego St 14)
