It is an 18th century merchant house located in Gdańsk, Poland. The house was originally owned by Johann Uphagen in 1775 before becoming a museum in 1911. Located at 12 Długa Street in Gdańsk, the house is one of only a few 18th century merchant town houses in Europe open to visitors.

The Artus Court is a building in the centre of Gdańsk, which used to be the meeting place of merchants and a centre of social life. Inside, the centrepiece of the main hall is a 10.64-metre renaissance tiled stove dating to 1546, made of more than 500 individual tiles and the tallest of its kind in Europe. There is also a huge, several-meter paintings relating to the Bible and mythology.

Designed by Johan Voigt in 1618 y., has the richest façade in the city. In the friezes between storeys are 12 elaborately carved scenes interspersed with busts of famous historical figures, including two Polish kings.
