The stronghold called the “Wolf’s Jaw” built on rock formations in the 13th century in the place where there was a wooden stronghold burned down during the Tatar invasion, has an incredibly rich history. It was the property of many rulers who modernized it for 500 years. Destroyed by the Swedish Army in 1702, it complements the beautiful landscape of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland.
