Rabbi Elimelech Weisblun was born in 1717 , one of the great founding Rebbes of the Hosidic movement.
Lizhensk is about 220 km away from Kraków. Usually it takes about 3 hours to drive from Kraków to Lezajsk. The Jewish cemetery in Lizhensk established in the 18th century is a place of pilgrimage for Jews from all over the world who come to visit the tomb of Rabbi Elimelech Weisblun.
