As part of the trip you will visit the most important tourist places of Zakopane, including: the city center, Gubałówka hill with a cable car from which there is a view of the Polish Tatra Mountains, a wooden village where traditional smoked sheep cheese, ski jumps and many other places related to architecture and culture of this part of Poland.

In Zakopane, you will visit the most popular street Krupówki, which is a peculiar market of the city and its central point. Krupówki street is crowded with tourists who visit shops and go to restaurants located along the street. On this street you can find many traditional highlander items to buy, such as clothes and souvenirs, but also to eat.

One of the main sightseeing points will be a cable car ride up the Gubałówka hill. The bottom station is located at one of the ends of Krupówki Street. After reaching the summit by cable car, you will see beautiful views of Polish Tatra Mountains. There are also various tourist attractions as well as local restaurants, cafes and bars where you will be able to try e.g. mulled wine and relax with a beautiful view.

Highlanders – local settlers, produce cheese called “Oscypek” in this region of Poland. It is smoked cheese made from sheep’s milk. The wooden houses where this cheese is produced are called “Bacówkach”. Thanks to a trip to this place, you will be able to try different types of this cheese with different levels of smoking, as well as hear about how it is produced.
