Stop At: Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, Parque Industrial de Vila Franca 500m Offshore, Vila Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel 9680-114 Portugal
Vila Franca do Campo, the first island capital we go through the city center and up to a stop at Miradouro Nª Srª da Paz a sacred place where we admire the full coast of Vila Franca and its volcanic Islet

Stop At: Lagoa das Furnas, Estrada Regional Do Sul, Lagoa Das Furnas Caldeiras Das Furnas, Sao Miguel 9675 Portugal
Lagoa das Furnas observing how and where it’s made the traditional “cozido das furnas” – furnas stew, in underground holes taking profit from the hot steaming geysers. Lunch Break at Furnas Village (reservation is mandatory. Lunch not included).
After lunch we visit the Caldeiras area, were we will find boiling waters, volcanic springs of hot water and thermal springs as well as cold springs of carbonated waters in this huge volcanic crater valley called FURNAS

Furnas village you will have free time to swim at the hot spring swimming pools at Poça da Beija with its luxurious vegetation and the 39ºC hot waters.(Entrance not included)

Visit to the factory and store where you will taste the famous Azorean Black or Green Tea

At Pico do Ferro we admire the panoramic view of the entire crater, including the village and the Furnas Lake
