It is a circuit intended for people that wish to know better caldera where you can find lagoa das Furnas. The route is circular, covering the dirt road that surrounds the lake. The highest point of this walk is located in Pico dos Milhos, in the middle of the circuit. The descent is by secondary paths that lead to the village, where you can observe secondary volcanism phenomena also. The trail is in good condition, and the climbs are easy progression.
