Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from JHB to Tremisana
Stop At: Balule Nature Reserve, PWG2+53, 1380, South Africa
Board the open Landcruiser for an exciting Sunset Drive. After dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals.
Duration: 3 hours
Meals included:
• Dinner: Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BRAAI deep in the African bush at Marula Tree Boma.
Accommodation included: Overnight in an airconditioned, en-suite chalet at Tremisana Game Lodge
Day 2: Game walk and game drive
Stop At: Balule Nature Reserve, PWG2+53, 1380, South Africa
Early morning departure for the Olifants River where your armed ranger will conduct an exciting 4 h walk in the wild. Enjoy this prolonged opportunity to discover savour the Bushveld’s secrets on foot. You will get a fantastic opportunity to track Africa’s big animals and approach close enough to take a good photo. Return to Tremisana for brunch. After high tea, board the open Landcruiser for a 2,5 h Game Drive

Day 3: Kruger National Park
Stop At: Kruger National Park, Malalan Gate, Nelspruit 1350 South Africa
Drive to Orpen in Kruger where you transfer to an open Gameviewer. Your guide will show you the varied fauna and flora of this magnificent wildlife paradise. Enjoy a full day of birdwatching and game-viewing. Transfer to Marc’s Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Moholoholo and game drive
Stop At: Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, R531, Hoedspruit South Africa
After breakfast, we drive to Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre for orphaned and injured animals. The animals at the centre are in enclosed pens and have been rehabilitated but are not yet able to be released into the wild as they are incapable of fending for themselves.
They serve a good purpose insofar as tourists can see that the project has successfully rehabilitated an animal that was destined to otherwise die – these animals arrive at Moholoholo as the result of being orphaned, poisoned, caught in poachers’ snares etc.
By visiting the centre we are supporting the important conservation work they do.

Enjoy an open vehicle sunset game drive in Balule Big Five Reserve

Day 5: Kruger National Park

Day 6: Game walk and transfer back to JHB

Early morning game walk with an armed guard to explore the many animals that inhabit Marc’s.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, R543, 2351 South Africa
After breakfast, we travel to the Three Rondawels of the Blyde River Canyon.
Duration: 45 minutes
