Luxurious and affordable rustic glamping tent that makes use of shared bathrooms / ablutions within Skukuza rest camp inside Kruger National Park (clean linen and towels are also provided). The tents are fully equipped with air conditioning, comfortable beds, linen, electric outlet, chairs and bed light. You need to bring along your own toiletries.

Itinerary
Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Pass By: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
We depart Johannesburg at 6:45 am from the bus terminal at OR Tambo to Skukuza rest camp. We stop for lunch en-route (own expense) and reach the Kruger National Park in the afternoon.
Private transfers are available to guests booked on flights at alternative times at an additional charge. Skukuza Airport pick-up at any time.
After settling in to our accommodations, you go out on your first game drive, which is a SAN Parks sunset drive (continuing after dark). Guests on the 11 am shuttle have early dinner and then a night drive. (Children under 6 years of age are not permitted on open vehicle drives).
Dinner is a delicious meal at our tented camp (for various diets on meals South Africans regularly enjoy).
Sleep at our tented camp in Skukuza with air-con, beds, bedight and plugs. We offer clean linen and towels.

Day 2: Two Game drives in Kruger National Park
Stop At: Kruger National Park, Malalan Gate, Nelspruit 1350 South Africa
The day starts early (after the game rangers or hosts’ wake-up call).
The start time of your morning drive will depend on rest camp gate opening times (as it differs throughout the year) and you may still be able to see nocturnal animals. April to September, the rest camp gates open at 6:00 am, November to January (4:30 am). February, March and October rest camp gates open at 5:30 am.

After the morning game drive, brunch is a hot breakfast buffet. The optional Panorama route occurs directly after early breakfast and no game drives occur this day should you take this full day activity (available once during this safari). Guests not taking the optional Panorama route excursion can have a rest break until the afternoon game drive at 15:00 pm.

Dinner after the afternoon game drive is one to cater for various diets and includes pudding. Exchange stories of Africa and listen to the sounds of the immense wilderness around you.

Day 3: Two Game drives in Kruger National Park

The start time of your morning drive will depend on rest camp gate opening times (as it differs throughout the year) and you may still be able to see nocturnal animals. April to September, the rest camp gates open at 6:00 am, November to January (4:30 am). February, March and October rest camp gates open at 5:30 am.
Enjoy coffee or tea with rusks. The morning game drive is the last chance to spot the big 5, offering guests the last opportunity to explore spectacular wild Africa, to spot a vast array of interesting wildlife.
After the morning game drive, brunch is a hot breakfast buffet.
Guests are dropped off at Skukuza Airport according to their flight time and in Johannesburg between 17:00 and 18:00 pm.
