These imposing quartzite peaks are names after three wifes of the Mapulane Chief Maripi Mashile namely Magabolle, Mogoladikwe and Maseroto. Combining with the Swadin dam at the bottom these quartzite peaks create a perfect picture scene that makes the Blyde River Canyon one of the sought after experiences.

The exploration of the Blyde River Canyon effectively starts with the Pinnacle, a monolithic quartzite rock rising 30m high at the beginning of the Canyon. As if floating in nothingness the Pinnacle is also surrounded by small waterfalls that accentuate its beauty.
