Itinerary
The last 27km of the Gariep River, a beautiful stretch of river before Van der Kloof Dam, offers some of the best yellow fish waters in SA. Although there are no dangerous rapids, it is thrilling experience to be on the water. Professional guides take care of everyone.
The first night is spent at Karoo Gariep Nature Reserve for sundowners, a delicious meal and a Shy 5 Night drive.
The second day is spent rowing 17km to the bay close to Doornkloof where dinner is served.
On Day Three we wake up to coffee and rusk before a road-trip back to Karoo Gariep Nature Reserve for breakfast
