Itinerary
Pickup at 06h00 and take the main highway to the north. Du Toitskloof Mountain Pass is next, overlooking the stunning Paarl Valley and thereafter enter the Breede River Valley.
Enter the Hex River Valley and second pass to arrive at Aquila Game Reserve in time for a buffet breakfast. A 2 to 3 hour game drive now follows.
After the drive conducted by a specialist game ranger, we return to the main building and enjoy a big buffet lunch.
Departure from the reserve is 14h00 and we continue with the circular panoramic tour to the town of Ceres, known for the fruit industry. On the way we drive along the third picturesque mountain Pass.
The town of Ceres now follows now follows and immediately thereafter the spectacular fourth pass follows. Picture stop in the pass. We take a look at the Blockhouses built during the 1899 – 1902 Anglo Boer War (South African War).
The last Mountain Pass follows (not for the faint hearted). Not only is it the beauty of the pass, but also the stunning fynbos – proteas, heathers and restios will impress any nature lover.
Drive into the town of Wellington- head office of South African Dried Fruit and carry on to Cape Town for drop off at 17h00/18h00.
