You can see the Zebras, the Antelopes, Wild Beasts and the notorius Chacma Baboons among others. Wild Ostriches are not to be missed and the Rock Hyrax or the Dassy. Marine life is not to be left behind as dozens pf seals are always pausing for a photo shoot on the boulders nearby.

This location is one of the most photographed in Africa because of its amazing views and surroundings. Lookout for some of the largest sea weed in the world. Take a healthy walk to to cliff top where from you can see the unspoiled Daiz beach.

This is an ideal place for group photos, a selfie or as a loving couple. The rough seas makes for a sensational photo backdrop with the continuous splashing waves on the boulders. And the fine mist cools of the day before you head to the next stop the Boulders beach – Penguins.

Explore one of the oldest settlements in South Africa established in 1652. Take a walk along the main road now a national heritage with its colonial Dutch architecture. There are old coffee shops, clothing shops and those specializing in art and craft.

This is home to the South African Navy hence you can see warship in the waters nearby and old Ducth cannons mounted ready for battle. Take a walk on the jetty. Get up close to the many fishing boats as this is home to the second biggest fishing industry in Cape Town.

We have several museums here which provides information since the arrival of the Dutch to post independent South Africa. Lookout for the statue of the dog able seamen Just Nuisance- the only dog to be formally listed in the Royal Navy.

Come face to face with these adorable flightless birds. Take a walk on the wooden boardwalk to Foxy beach where the concentration of the penguin colony is awaiting you. Listen to these penguins as they bray like donkeys.

Here you must take out your best camera as the Penguins are always pausing for great pictures. An ideal location for a selfie or a group photo with the background of the Jack-ass penguins. Learn the history of these penguins since 1982 when they were discovered.

Time permitting you can use you ticket to access these birds from Boulders’ beach a 5 min walk from Foxy beach (subject to group permission). Here you are allowed to peddle with them. So bring along your swim wear for a rare experience with the African Penguins.
