Our drive down to the Good Hope nature reserve take us from Hout Bay to Noordhoek on the coastal scenic Chapman’s Peak drive across the mountain face, numerous wonderful viewing sites. The almost vertical sheer cliffs of Chapman’s Peak seemingly close enough to touch, plunge into the sea the road cuts through sedimentary dark colored layers of sandstone and the lighter grey-colored granite exposed below the road.
