Itinerary description
The journey begins with a pick up from your hotel, we drive along the beautiful Beach Road with an incredible ocean view which hosts some of Cape Town’s pristine beaches with blue flag status on one side and the mountain on the other side along with its beautiful condos, and luxurious home’s the mother city has to offer.
An opportunity to photograph at the scenic Maidens Cove to admire Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostle’s mountain range as well as the ever popular suburb of Camps Bay.
We continue our journey passing the small town of Llandudno and make our next stop in Hout Bay. A vibrant fishing community where guests have the opportunity to board a short cruise (45 minutes) to the colony of Cape Fur Seal. Take an opportunity to simply enjoy the diverse, fresh seafood, music, craft market and admire the fishermen as they offload the catch of day.
Upon return from Seal Island, we continue our drive on the majestic Chapman’s Peak Drive. This incredible 9 km road, stretches with 114 curves and is highly regarded as one of the best scenic drives not only in South Africa but in the world, your guide will be sure to make frequent stops along the way to soak up the views.
Your journey is not complete until you make a memorable trip to Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town to visit this amazing Colony of about 3000 African Penguins formerly known as ‘Jackass’. The Colony has grown tremendously from just two breeding pair in 1982. Simon’s Town is also one of the oldest town’s in the country, established in 1680 as a winter harbour for the VOC and for centuries has served as the country’s Navy base.
The Cape of Good hope and Cape Point, a spectacular nature reserve that lies in this Southern Peninsular of Cape Town is arguably one of the famous landmarks in the city. Whether admiring the landscape, sightseeing or encountering some wildlife (baboons, ostriches, elands, mountain zebras), appreciating the thousands of fauna and bird spices. Additionally we honour the brave souls and explorers such as Bartholomew Dias and Vasco Da Gama, historical figures who laid the foundation in the Cape, and endure the treacherous waters of the Cape in search of the spice route.
