This tour is for those with a limited schedule but who would still like to see the highlights of the Garden Route. Guests can fly into George (on their own expense) where their friendly guide will meet them.
During our 4-day Garden Route tour we will stay in Wilderness and use the village as a base camp to explore the rest of the Garden Route.
At the conclusion of the 4 day tour, guests will be dropped off at the George Airport.

What to Expect When Visiting George, Western Cape, South Africa

During our 4-day Garden Route tour we will stay in Wilderness and use the village as a base camp to explore the rest of the Garden Route.
At the conclusion of the 4 day tour, guests will be dropped off at the George Airport.
Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up from George Airport
Pass By: George, George, Western Cape
You will be met at the George Airport by your friendly guide. Based on the arrival time your guide will take you to check into your accommodation, and afterwards he will take you to the town of Mosselbay.

Accommodation included: Accommodation will be in a 3 to 4 star guest house
Day 2: Exploring Oudtshoorn
Pass By: Oudtshoorn, Oudtshoorn, Western Cape
We will start the day by heading over the Outeniqua Mountains towards the town of Oudtshoorn, well known for it’s ostrich farming. Our first stop will be at one of the Ostrich show farms for an educational tour explaining the history and practices of the ostrich industry, as well as get a chance to get close to these big birds. From here we will travel to the Cango Caves where we will do a guided tour into this interesting Cave System.

Day 3: Tsitsikamma, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna
Pass By: Tsitsikamma National Park, Tsitsikamma National Park, Eastern Cape
From Wilderness we will travel down the N2 to the Tsitsikama Area.
Our first stop will be Tsitsikamma National Park where we have the option to do a nature hike to the suspension bridge (approx. 2 km), or to simply enjoy the beauty of the rugged coastline.
Afterwards we will travel back towards Wilderness, but along the way we will also pull into the towns of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna exploring some sights
Optional Extras: Bungee Jumping, Animal Sanctuaries.

Day 4: Drop Off at George Airport
Pass By: George, George, Western Cape
Your guide will return you to the George Airport for your return flight to Cape Town. Based on your departure time your guide will make some suggestions to fill the time before your flight.
