The walk is interesting and varied, along single tracks and country lanes, with beautiful mountain scenery and farmland. Encompassing vineyards and orchards, horse paddocks and farms in what is aptly called “the Heaven & Earth” valley. Excellent platter to enjoy with the wine tasting at trail end.

Enjoy a wine tasting with the most spectacular view of the valley.Play a game of boule on their champagne verandah or just sip their award winning wine. Lovely cheese & snack platters available for the hungry and often interesting pairings available e.g nougat, chocolate, tapas … Leaving the hilltop we waddle down past the Debos dam (supplies Hermanus with water) to the next vineyard.

Walk through fynbos vegetation and a protea farm to a modern wood and canvas that houses the Bosman Family Tasting Room and Picnic area. Relaxed venue to taste the Bosman range of wines as well as their delightful MCC.

Stop At: Sumaridge Wine Estate, Hemel -en-Aarde Valley, Hermanus, Overstrand 7200 South Africa
The walk continues along farmlands, horse farms, orchards and vineyards to the tasting room of Sumaridge Estate. Superb tasting of their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Maritimus (white blend), Epitome (red blend), Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Rose. Relax in the beautifully appointed tasting room and enjoy a delicious platter with the wine. The tour ends here .
