Take the opportunity to see different species of ostriches. Safari Ostrich Farm is the first show farm in South Africa where the Kenyan Red, Zimbabwe Blue and South African Birds can be viewed. You may even spot a rare White ostrich and the elusive Emu (also a Ratite from Australia). Learn about how we breed with and rear ostriches. Learn about the carving of eggs, uses for ostrich skins and feathers.
After the tour enjoy our café with a variety of ostrich dishes available on the menu. If you prefer chicken, vegetarian or gluten free, we cater for that too.

Tractor Tour – Duration 1 hour
The Tractor Tour allows for a fun and interactive experience of our farm. Get up close and personal with the worlds largest bird inside their camps in the farm.
Take amazing photographs and learn about Zimbabwean, Kenyan, South African and the shy white ostriches. Enjoy the open air of the Little Karoo as you drive to the chick rearing camps where you can see birds at different stages of their development – depending on the time of the year.
Learn about our industry. Why the ostrich is so important to our area. Learn about eggs, leather and feathers. Come and enjoy a fun interesting hour on our farm.
