Guided half-day Swartberg Pass eco-tour. The Swartberg Mountains is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Swartberg Pass is a National Monument (gravel road)  and ascents 900m until you reach the summit. The tour includes a leisure walk on a Swartberg Mountain Trail with panoramic vistas over the Klein-and Great Karoo. You will also learn more about the conservation initiatives pioneered by the members of the H.O.P.E. Foundation. A light lunch is included after the tour.

This full-day guided nature tour of the 27 kilometer Swartberg Pass (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), includes leisure optional scenic walks on the Swartberg Pass offering panoramic views over the Klein and Great Karoo at the "top" of the Pass ( 1568 m above sea level). We also visit the quaint Great Karoo town of Prince Albert and return to Oudtshoorn via the scenic Meiringspoort.

Experience the beauty of the Swartberg mountains (UNESCO World Heritage site) as you travel to the summit of the world famous, Swartberg Pass. This national monument dates back to 1881 and offers stunning panoramic views of the Little and Great Karoo which you can overlook over 200km with your bare eyes. From the summit guests are able to take a walk in the reserve between 500 different species of fauna and flora.

Enjoy sun-downers and watch how a traditional braai is done the South African way while enjoying your Roosterkoek starters served with home-made marmalades. Feast on certified Karoo lamb chops, boerewors, ostrich kebabs, pumpkin fritters and variety of salads and vegetables all freshly harvested from the gardens at the restaurant. After dinner dance the night away under the African Skies!

Experience the rubicon of gravel roads while in the saddle of a mountain bike. You will be transported to the top of the Swartberg pass, 1583m above sea level where you will be given a mountain bike.
From here it is your time to experiment this winding pass with its steep zigzags and sudden switchbacks with breathtaking views at every turn. You can be entertained by over 500 species of fauna and flora in the back of your saddle, and down forget to keep a lookout for the Klipspringer (buck), Eagles, Dassies, and many other wildlife species.

Depart from your accommodation in Oudtshoorn (after a brief introduction of the Klein Karoo) towards the Swartberg Mountain Pass. Encounter the changes in landscape, fauna and climate. Encounter the majestic rock formations of this Uniseco World Heritage site. Photograph the craftsmanship of the road builders, with breathtaking views of the north and the south!
After lunch in Prince Albert we depart and do a quick stop at the waterfall in Meiringspoort. Thereafter we visit the award winning olive farm in De Rust.
Let your senses experience the smells and tastes of this award winning olive oil and olives.

Adventure motorcycle riding is a spectacular way to experience South Africa and in particular the Garden Route and the Karoo. You will travel with one of our very experienced and passionate riders who live and ride in this area. You will be briefed and kitted out with the necessary safety kit before the ride of a lifetime. Many people would like to experience this on a motorbike but do not have the expertise to ride these big bikes, the knowledge of the area or simply the licensce to ride these motorbikes. These motorbikes are expensive to hire with very high insurance excesses. The feeling of freedom and adventure on an adventure motorcycle is bliss. We ride these areas every weekend and know the routes intimately. The view-points we get to on a motorcycle are incredible as we are on a motorcycle. A unique way to see the country and its people.
