This tour will start at the Plaza de la Merced, one of the most important squares in Malaga, where we can see the illustrious Picasso sitting on a bench. Here we will begin to know the origin of the city, then continue with a walk through the center enjoying the true essence of Malaga, discovering streets and magical corners that are not known unless accompanied by a guide.

Stop At: Malaga Cathedral, Calle Molina Lario 9, 29015 Malaga Spain

We will go through emblematic places such as the Plaza de la Constitución, Calle Larios, the Plaza del Obispo and we will enter the interior of the Cathedral of Málaga, known as the Manquita. It is the most significant monument of the city, in which which we will find outstanding artists works of art.

We will continue through the most picturesque places, and we will take a break to take a typical local wine. We will arrive at the end of our tour, visiting the Roman Theater and the indispensable Alcazaba, where we will enjoy the beautiful panoramic views that can be seen from inside. Such views led to the construction of a palace in the citadel, assuming a “premonition” on a small scale of what would be the later construction of the Alhambra in Granada.

El Teatro Romano is the oldest monument in Málaga; it is situated in the heart of the city, at the foot of the famous Alcazaba fortress. It is one of the only Ancient ruins left in Málaga and one of the only remaining Roman ruins in Andalucía.
