Itinerary
Enjoy our circular e-bike tour through rural countryside then return to the town for a historical walking tour of Ronda’s most famous and interesting sights. Local biking guide and certified historical guides lead each section of the tour.
Ronda enjoys wonderful countryside right on its doorstep. Using electric bikes, we are soon amongst olive groves and vineyards, fields and ancient holm oak forest. We pass by an 18th-century aqueduct and an ancient water trough, both fed by natural springs. We look down on to Ronda from the fields, enjoying a fabulous view of the old town.
We re-enter the town via an old cobbled street which heads below the city walls, riding over the Roman (or Arab) bridge, with views up to the Puente Viejo “Old Bridge”. We pass the Arab Baths and the Almocábar Gate, set into the city walls, as we ride up via one of the oldest districts of the town, the barrio San Francisco, to meet your walking guide.
We walk through the narrow streets of the old town, past grand houses and to a viewpoint with fabulous vistas across Ronda’s fertile valley. We cross the famous Puente Nuevo into the newer part of town, passing the bullring and the Alameda del Tajo gardens.
