Stop At: Mirador de la Peña Falconera, 22144 Morrano, Huesca, Spain
La Peña Falconera, more popularly known as “El Huevo de Morrano” is a unique rock formation located near the town of Morrano.
Conglomerate, clay, and sandstone rocks, with their different resistance to inclement weather (water, ice …), have been fracturing and eroding for thousands of years to create this curious natural sculpture.
In the foothills of the Sierra y los Cañones de Guara Natural Park we can take a simple circular excursion, suitable for the whole family, which takes us to know the Peña Falconera / Huevo de Morrano and the wooded and agricultural terrain that surrounds it. Will you join us to know a little more?
