What to Expect When Visiting Almedíjar, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain
One of the most picturesque areas of Sierra Espadán natural park. The village of Almedíjar itself is very charming and it is also known for it’s cheeses, which we can get in a local shop before the hike.
Itinerary
An easy and picturesque walk along the Almanzor ravine. The total distance of the walk is 9 kilometers and will take about 2.5-3 hours. During the walk you’ll learn the legend of Moorish king Almanzor, and the mountain spring named after him.
