Stop At: Requena, Requena, Province of Valencia, Valencian Country
The Wine Tour departs from the Valencia city center to the Utiel Requena region. You’ll be accompanied by an expert guide who will talk about Valencian wines during the trip, about 1 hour approx.
Situated in the province’s interior, Utiel-Requena’s wine culture permeates the life and history of this area. The Denomination of Origin (D.O.), Utiel-Requena is the only region in which wine has been continuously produced for more than 2,500 years.
Once arrived, you’ll enjoy a guided tour to the old town and visit the first winery. You’ll learn about the winemaking process while touring their rooms: vineyards, grapes reception casks, bottling and storage. You will enjoy 2 wines tasting and you will receive a gift glass.
Then, you will taste the local renowned sausages accompanied by wine in “porrón”.
You’ll visit the second winery to delight in their most recognized 3 wines as you see different rooms.
Finally, you will return to Valencia with the good food and wines flavor in your heart.
