Itinerary

Day 1: To Yala National Park

Stop At: Bandaranaike International Airport, Canada Friendship Rd, කටුනායක 11450, Sri Lanka
Pick-up from the Airport or Any Hotels around Kandy/Colombo
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Yala National Park Sri Lanka
Yala (යාල) National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks. The blocks have individual names such as, Ruhuna National Park (Block 1), and Kumana National Park or ‘Yala East’ for the adjoining area. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and lies in Southern Province and Uva Province. The park covers 979 square kilometres (378 sq mi) and is located about 300 kilometres (190 mi) from Colombo. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.

Leave for the Evening Safari Game drive at 15:00 to 19:00 HRS. ( snacks and refreshments along with mineral water provied)

Day 2: Full Day Safari –

Wake up call at 05:00 HRS

An action packed day. If you’re here to see animals, better spend more times in the jungle than sleeping in..

Stop At: Yala National Park Sri Lanka
05: 15 HRS – morning coffee & Tea and push off for a day full of adventure with packed breakfast and lunch. Don’t forget to pack your bathing suite incase we decided to take a dip in the deep jungle river.

Stop At: Camp Leopard – Yala Safari Glamping, Yala National Park Buffer Zone Off of Katagumuwa Entrance to Yala Block 1 Yala – Katagamuwa, 91400, Sri Lanka
At 19 : 00 HRS return to the camp.

19:30 HRS Drinks around the camp fire followed by Dinner. Don’t forget to share your stories around the fire.

Day 3: Final day at Yala National Park

No Safari – or another morning drive if you’re up for it..

All good things must come to an end. Let’s take this day easy. Deserve to sleep in. Wake up and may be go for a morning cycle ride.
