Colombo Trip Overview
Born and bred in Colombo, I began developing this walk in the city to share my passion for developing authentic and soulful experiences. Eventhough the city is developing fast, there is a soft spot in me for the overlooked forgotten parts of the city which still remain very much historical. Come join the experience of seeing Colombo through a local’s point of view with me.
The walk will cover the forgotten areas of Colombo and Pettah Markets. Couple of the places that we will be covering would be the ones mentioned below. Lighthouse with clock tower, First Departmental Store in Sri Lanka, Last King of Sri Lanka prison cell, The Dutch Hospital Complex, The Oldest Hotel in Sri Lanka, The only remaining Dutch Gate and off course topping it off with a visit to a local bar.

Itinerary
Its a stroll through the forgotten streets of Colombo- the commercial capital of the country. Amidst the skyscrapers and upcoming international branded projects, there is still undiscovered parts of Colombo which remain very rich in history. Explore the city’s overlooked fort area, hustling markets of Pettah and its bustling streets alongside some of the countries oldest buildings where they still remain intact. This is a great tour for those with a keen interest in history, culture,architecture and photography.
The walk begins from a historical area near the fort and will cover some of the oldest buildings in the city, with visits to ancient churches and central landmarks in the city. Off course the best part remains last, where you will top it off with a chilled refreshment at one of the most phenomenal view points in the city.
