Day 1: Negombo/Colombo – Deniyaya

Stop At: Sinharaja Forest Entrance, Sinharaja Access Road Viharahena, Deniyaya 81500 Sri Lanka
Sinharaja Forest Reserve meaning ‘Lion Kingdom’ is the best known Rain Forest in the country and has been identified as important biodiversity hotspot. The Park was originally declared a forest reserve in 1875 and due to its international importance it was designated as a Biosphere Reserve in 1978 and a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. The vegetation at Sinharaja is that of a tropical wet evergreen forest with large trees that grow to heights of 35m to 40m and even going up to 50m, believed to have unbelievable genetic potential, waiting to be tapped. Some families of Dipterocarpaceae show an endemism of over 90%, of the 211 woody trees and lianas, 66% or 139 of them are endemic to the forest reserve. The lower plants such as Ferns and epiphytes of the 25 endemic species 13 have been recorded within Sinharaja itself.

Day 2: Deniyaya- UdawalawaNegombo/Colombo

Stop At: Patna Devision Deniyaya Sliding Rock, Enasalwaththa Rd, Sri Lanka
Most of the people called Patna as a ” Sliding Rock “. Yes of course it is a sliding rock which made by nature naturally. This amazing spot is located at ” Deniyaya “. IAll the slide rock makes people happy. It gives lot of joy for the people. There is no huge water waves. A little thin water layer flows on the rocks and then its end with a litter water pool. That pool is not deep one. This helps you to get some adventure experiences by sliding down on the rock with water. Not only adults but also children can be enjoy in a same way. Actually it feels like getting the Leisure World Water Park experience at Patna without free of charge. This is opens for every rich and poor people in the world because it is a beautiful creation of nature.

Udawalawe National Park is in the southern dry-zone of Sri Lanka and spans approximately 31,000 hectares, providing for ample elephant safari opportunities as well as observing the Park’s other Sri Lankan wildlife. The Park straddles two Provinces in the South of Sri Lanka and includes the Udawalawe Reservoir. The Udawalawe National Park is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and is second in popularity only to the Yala National Park.
