Itinerary

Day 1: Cruise the Mekong from northern Laos to the World Heritage town of Luang Prabang via Pak Beng

Stop At: Huay Xai, Huay Xai, Bokeo Province
• Pick up at around 07:45 from most pick up points in Chiang Khong for transfer to the border including luggage handling and visa assistance.

• Once done with the passport formalities on the Laos side, transfer to the boat pier to board the Nagi of Mekong boat.

• Boat will depart at around 09:45, tea & coffee served, your English speaking host on the boat will give you more details of program and etc.
• Stops are usually made at Ban Phalam, a village by the Mekong where one could observe way of life of the farmers and fisherman who live in the village.
• Freshly cooked lunch is served on board before proceeding to Pak Beng where you spend a night at hotel or guest houses booked by us or by yourself.
• Overnight in Pak Beng, small cosy town but interesting. A walk through a local market either in the afternoon or in the morning is a must.

Day 2: From Pak Beng to Luang Prabang

Stop At: Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang Province
• Morning check out and board the Nagi of Mekong again for the final leg of the journey. More stops are made on this day at a local village before lunch and at Pak Ou cave before reaching Luang Prabang pier and you will be transferred to your places of stay in city centre.

Stop At: Nagi of Mekong Cruise Houi Xai – LPB, Representing office in Thailand – 286 Tambon Khrueng, Amphoe Chiang Khong, Chang Wat Chiang Rai 57140, Thailand
