Itinerary
Day 1: Airport or Bus Terminal – Phathat Phanom – Phathat Renu – Cruise along Mae Khong River
Stop At: Wat Phra That Phanom, 183/13 Chayankun Road That Phanom Subdistrict, That Phanom 48110 Thailand
According to legend, the temple contains the Buddha’s breast bone, and as such, it is one of the most important Theravada Buddhist structures in the region. It was originally built in the 16th century by the Laotian King Setthathirath of Lan Xang. Each year, a festival is held at That Phanom to honor the temple.

Built in 1918, the Phrathat Renu celebrated its first century of existence in 2018.
