Stop At: Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, 141/2 Moo 2 Tambol Maikhao Tambon Mai Khao, Amphoe Thalang, Chang Wat Phuket 83110, Thailand

You will be picked up from your hotel on Phuket and transfer to the Yacht Haven Marina where you will board one of the leading wooden junk cruise ships in Southern Thailand.

With only a capacity of maximum 30 guests, you will feel like one of the elite while sailing gracefully in the direction of Phang Nga Bay. For approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, guests will slowly get immersed in the beauty of Phang Nga Bay.

Stop At: Ban Sam Chong Nuae fishing village, Unnamed Road, ตำบล กะไหล อำเภอตะกั่วทุ่ง พังงา 82130, Thailand

Long hidden from the naked eye, Baan Sam Chong Nuea marks the first stop of the day, a generations-old fishing community located by one of the canals leading land inwards, guests will pass by mangrove forests before entering local seafood paradise. From demonstrations on how freshly catches of the day make it to your plate to seeing how this village has retained its old charm, the importance of the sea is highlighted here. A seafood lunch is served at the village’s only restaurant.

After lunch, mingling with the locals, and guided by a native from this village, bring forward other local qualities that have withstood the test of time. Handicraft, an authentic way of life and largely untouched by the influences of a modern civilisation are earmarked to get a true feeling of local southern Thailand charm.

We end the afternoon by sailing to one of nature’s most unusual and beautiful locations, and the site of the 1974 James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun,” by local long tail boats. Guests from all around the world not only come to see this important piece of movie history but also have the chance to admire the spectacular sight of a multitude of rocks and cliffs that rise straight out of the water.

A gentle cruise back to Phuket mainland and the disembarkation point at the Yacht Haven Marina is followed by a transfer back to your Phuket accommodation.
