The Simonehoeve is an original cheese farm and wooden shoe factory. Here you can see how the Dutch make cheese and how Dutch clogs are cut. You can look around in the shop and taste the most delicious cheeses, fruit wine and biscuits at the cheese tasting.
Stop At: Edam, Edam, North Holland Province
We will take a walk through Edam, we’ll visit the big church, the cheese farm, De Dam, the oldest wooden cabin in the city. After that we will take you past the three houses, the polder mill, the city farm and we will tell you the rich history of the city and educate you throughout the tour. This is where we will take a break from the tour and take some time off to drink and to tell you all about the local way of life.
