Visiting Cappadocia is like stepping into a Dali painting. Formed in millions of years with the eruptions from now-extinct volcanoes covered the plateau with ash, and erosion has transformed the landscape into a surrealist vista of cones and columns.
Adapting to their environment, the inhabitants carved homes and churches, fortresses, even entire cities above and underground, out of the caves.

Home to some of the best preserved rock-cut churches in the region, Goreme Open Air Museum is one of the best examples of the monastery life practiced between 4th to 13th centuries C.E.

Stop At: Avanos, Avanos, Cappadocia
This cute little town is another gem of Cappadocia offering pottery art experience since the early Hittites.
Roll up your sleeves! It is time to show your skills.

Stop At: Devrent Valley, Devrent Mevkii No:1 Urgup Yolu, 50500 Turkey
A popular photo stop, also known as Imagination Valley, will be on your way to the hotel.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Zelve Open Air Museum, Zelve Yolu, Nevsehir Turkey
Unfortunately, still one of the least visited sights of the region, yet without this visit, Cappadocia is not complete!
Consisting of three different valleys, Zelve was home to its inhabitants till the 1920s. You will enjoy visiting the ruins of the valley with spectacular views, especially during the golden hours.

Stop At: Uchisar Castle, Uchisar Turkey
Nestled at the highest point of the region, Uchisar is a beautiful town with a monstrous, one single piece of volcanic formation, turned into a castle.
Today, most floors are not accessible, but you will enjoy photographing this giant landmark from different angles.
