Itinerary

Day 1: North Cappadocia

Stop At: Devrent Valley, Devrent Mevkii No:1 Urgup Yolu, 50500 Turkey
You will be picked up from the bus station in the morning and transferred to tour starting point by an air conditioned car.

First place to visit is Devrent Valley (also known as Imaginary or Pink Valley). Red colored lunar landscape of Devrent Valley is filled with strange rock formations. Your tour guide will tell you about how these volcanic formations shaped in time.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pasabag, Urgup Turkey
Next stop is the Monks’ Valley (also known as Pasabag). The Area has had its name from the monks lived here in the 4th century AD. Mushroom shaped pinnacles are an enjoyable sight.
After Pasabag, we will visit a local restaurant to taste beautiful Turkish meals for lunch.

Stop At: Avanos, Avanos, Cappadocia
Later we will visit the town of Avanos. This place is known pottery, so you can join a pottery workshop here. Also you can try to create your own pottery.

Stop At: Pigeon Valley, Uchisar KasabasI Nevşehir Kapadokya, Goreme 50240 Turkey
Then, The Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik) where you can visit handcrafted caves, tunnels and natural cliffs. Some of the fairy chimneys here reach 130 ft.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Uchisar, Uchisar, Cappadocia
Next stop is the great rock called Uchisar Hill (also known as Landlord’s Castle). Not only the cut-rock caves are amazing here, but also the view of the land is a must-see.

Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Goreme Valley is best seen from Esentepe. You can take panoramic photos of the best geological formations on this landmark.Last stop of the tour is Goreme Open-Air Museum. You will see cave churches with incredible fresco work in combined structures of monasteries. Your tour guide will tell you how these were created between 10th and 12th centuries AD.
At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia to spend the night.

Day 2: South Cappadocia

Stop At: Derinkuyu Yeralti Sehri, Derinkuyu Turkey
You can have your breakfast at the hotel in the morning. You will be picked up to attend the tour at 09:30. The beginning point of the tour is Derinkuyu underground city. Derinkuyu is the largest and the most complex underground city excavated in Turkey. All the tunnels, rooms and structures in the city was handcrafted.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Ihlara Valley, Guzelyurt 68500 Turkey
Next we will walk through Ihlara Valley which has several cave churches and settlements around.
After Ihlara Valley we will have lunch in a local restaurant.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Belisirma, Belisirma, Aksaray Province
Next stop is Belisirma Village which is famous for the ruins covering the place. Ala, Bezirhane, Karagedik and Direkli church ruins are some of the beautiful remnants of Byzantine era.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Selime Monastery, Guzelyurt Turkey
Then we will head to Selime, perhaps the most beautiful and detailed monastery handcrafted inside a cave.

The Last stop of the tour is Nar Lake. The lake is a volcanic crater located 30 km’s from Derinkuyu and Ihlara.

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to the airport to take your flight back to Istanbul. When you arrive in the airport, you will be transferred back to your hotel free of charge.

Day 3: Cappadocia Tour

Stop At: Mustafapasa, Mustafapasa, Urgup, Cappadocia
You can have a breakfast at the hotel, free of charge. We will pick you up from the hotel at 09:30 to begin the second day of the tour. We will begin the tour in Mustafapasa (also known as Sinasos). Here is the area where the Greek people of Cappadocia lived in the history.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Keslik Monastery, Urgup Turkey
Then we will visit Keslik Monastery which was cut-out inside volcanic rocks. This monastery was used in Byzantine and Ottoman era.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Taşkınpaşa, 50402 Taşkınpaşa/Ürgüp/Nevşehir, Turkey
Next stop is the Village of Taskinpasa. There are religious structures here (a mosque and a madrasah) left from the Seljuks.

After the Taskinpasa Village, we will have a lunch in a local Turkish restaurant.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Soganli Valley, 40Km Southeast of Urgup, and 25Km to the East of Derinkuyu, Kayseri 38800 Turkey
Soganli Valley is forked into two branches. Romans have used the rock cones on the sides of the valley as graves before, later Byzantines have built churches here. The frescoes and other wall decorations you will see here are from 9th to 13th centuries. We will also see the church of Cemil which was built just before the 2nd World War.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkey
The last stop of the day 2 is Kaymakli underground city. This underground city has 8 floors and it can hold up to 5,000 residents. Kaymakli is a full-fledged rural city including wine cellars, storage and stables for animals.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to the bus station to take your bus to Istanbul or another city of your choice.
