Built during Sultan Mahmud I’s the reign and opened in 1751, it was constructed on the Bosphorus shores at the recommendation of a Grand Vizier. The pavilion was renovated in 1856-1857 and became a museum in 1983.
With its garden and historical ambiance, it offers a great setting for visitors to explore Istanbul’s rich heritage. The two-story building, made of brick and stone, showcases the city’s history.
Please note: Küçüksu Pavilion is closed on Mondays. It is open every other day from 09:00 to 17:00, and visitors can stay as long as they wish, though a visit of about 1 hour is recommended.
